Treatment
Following eye removal surgery, 51-year-old Skinny developed a persistent post-surgical wound that reopened after initially appearing to heal. Her veterinary care team incorporated an adjunct treatment with kINPen® VET into her wound-management plan. The targeted, contact-free cold jet plasma application was performed alongside the other clinically indicated wound-care measures and, in Skinny’s case, without additional anesthesia. Over the following weeks, the veterinary team observed continued wound-healing progress, and the wound was ultimately documented as fully closed in early October.
